Older XPENG P7 XOS update eligibility: check before troubleshooting
On an original P7, check System Information before troubleshooting an update that is missing. The 2023 English handbook opens it from the XPENG logo or About → Xmart OS; those instructions do not establish P7+ eligibility.

Start here
- Confirm the original P7 generation, market and complete installed build. Keep the supplied handbook open to the System Information and OTA section.
- Open the XPENG logo on the status bar or About → Xmart OS, as shown by that edition.
- Read whether it shows no new version or an offered release. Use View Details for an offered version’s actual notes.
Keep the vehicle connected so an assigned package can arrive. On this original P7, select Upgrade to new version in System Information, choose a time when the car can remain safely parked, locked and unavailable, then tap Confirm the update schedule.
Before installation starts, Appointment details → Change upgrade time changes that reservation.
If Nightly automatic upgrade is enabled, this edition can install at 03:00; check that setting before planning essential overnight charging.
- After successful completion, confirm the full build and essential controls before the next journey.
What to expect: You have identified no offer, an offered package or a specific failure without confusing another P7 generation’s announcement with eligibility.
Do not use a vehicle after failed installation, interrupt an update, change regions, load unofficial files or attempt rollback.
If that did not work
For no offer, ask XPENG to confirm vehicle-specific eligibility using the installed build and the private VIN if requested. For a failed installation, follow the permitted Retry and seek support after repeated failure; a screen restart cannot assign a release.
