What XPENG has announced for the UK
XPENG says UK customer deliveries of the seven-seat X9 are planned to begin during Q3 2026. Q3 means July to September; it does not guarantee that every colour or specification will arrive at the start of that period.
| UK variant | Announced price | Combined range | Maximum DC input |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Range | £74,990 | 332 miles WLTP | 537 kW |
| Long Range | £79,990 | 382 miles WLTP | 542 kW |
| Performance AWD | £84,990 | 360 miles WLTP | 542 kW |
These are manufacturer-announced figures, not independent road-test results. Reconfirm the price, standard equipment, options and delivery timing on the signed order.
Choose the version by actual use
- Record the usual passenger load and longest regular journey.
- Check whether home charging, towing or seven-seat use is important.
- Request a dated UK specification sheet for each relevant variant.
- Compare battery, drivetrain, range, wheels, equipment and charging—not only price or maximum kW.
- Obtain insurance quotations for the exact variant before paying a deposit.
Understand the charging number
A maximum input of 537 or 542 kW does not mean every UK charger will deliver it. Charger capability, shared site power, battery temperature, starting percentage and the charging curve all affect a session.
Verify delivery and total price
- Ask whether the order has an allocated build or remains an estimate.
- Obtain the expected handover date in writing and retain later updates.
- Check vehicle price, paint, options, fees, finance, part exchange and deposit-refund terms separately.
Before committing
Test all occupied seats, measure your garage and parking access, confirm the supplied UK charging cable and AC capability, and check connected-service, warranty, roadside-assistance and servicing terms in the final documents.
