A manual for the wrong model year, market or software generation can show different controls, warnings and emergency procedures. Match the document to the vehicle before following it.

Choose the correct manual

  1. Identify the exact model: G6, G9, P7 or another XPENG vehicle.
  2. Confirm that the vehicle is a UK right-hand-drive specification.
  3. Record the model year or generation from the order or registration documents.
  4. Check the complete XOS version shown in the vehicle.
  5. Open the official in-car manual or current UK source and compare its model, market and publication details.

When instructions differ

  1. Stop before operating emergency releases, high-voltage equipment or safety systems.
  2. Check whether one document covers another market or an earlier vehicle generation.
  3. Use the manual associated with your VIN or supplied with the UK vehicle.
  4. Ask XPENG support to confirm the correct document if the match remains unclear.

Keep useful details together

Save the VIN, model year, complete XOS version and the manual’s title or publication date. These details make it much easier to verify a procedure after an OTA update or when asking for help.
