2026 XPENG G6 AWD Performance: UK Specs and Price

Yes—the UK New G6 AWD Performance has dual motors with brochure totals of 358 kW and 660 Nm. Choose it for the AWD/performance specification you need; the rear-wheel-drive Long Range has the longer published range, 326 miles versus the AWD’s 316.

XPENG G6 All-Wheel Drive: How to Confirm the UK Variant — XPENG owner guide

Make sure the quotation is for the AWD

  1. Look for the complete name. The written quotation should identify the UK New G6 AWD Performance, model generation and driven axles; do not infer AWD from a photograph or the word “Performance” alone.
  2. Match its specification. The UK brochure lists 80.8 kWh LFP, 316 miles WLTP and up to 451 kW DC for this derivative. Check wheel size, colour and included equipment on the same quotation.
  3. Separate the prices. The brochure’s starting OTR price is £49,990; confirm the live vehicle price, paint, accessories, delivery charges and any finance incentives separately. Ask for stock status and the delivery estimate in writing.
  4. Compare the costs and trade-off. Obtain insurance and fitted-tyre quotes for the full derivative. The same UK brochure lists Long Range at £44,990 with 326 miles WLTP versus AWD Performance at £49,990 with 316 miles. That is £5,000 more and 10 fewer published miles for the AWD/performance choice, before options or current offers. Compare the actual insurance and charging costs with that difference rather than paying for AWD you do not need.
  5. Keep the order for handover. Match the invoice and VIN-linked specification to the agreed derivative, wheels and equipment. Give insurers, service staff and accessory suppliers the full model name.

You should have: a dated order for an identifiable AWD car, with the total price and specification agreed.

If the order says something different

Ask the retailer to correct the derivative or explain the discrepancy in writing before paying a deposit or accepting delivery. A current UK sales document for that car takes priority over an older review or an overseas configurator.

AWD does not remove the need for suitable tyres or driving for the conditions, and it does not by itself shorten braking distance.
