2. Ask an authorised UK retailer for a dated written quotation.
3. Confirm right-hand drive, derivative, battery, drivetrain, wheel size, colour and model year.
4. Ask whether the car is physical stock, allocated production or only an estimated future order.
5. Confirm the expected delivery date and what happens if timing or specification changes.

Changing another order for an available G6?

“Available to order” and “ready for your handover” are different. Before giving up your existing delivery slot, get a written answer about one specific replacement car.

1. Ask which exact G6 the retailer is offering: derivative, model year/generation, colour, wheels and whether it is new, pre-registered or a demonstrator. A registration year alone does not identify the generation.
2. Ask where that car is now and whether it is allocated to you. If a VIN has been assigned, have the retailer include it in your private order documents; do not post it publicly.
3. Give the retailer the date you actually need the car. Ask for a handover date and the outstanding steps: transport, preparation, registration and any finance approval relevant to your order.
4. Compare the final written price, included equipment and warranty start date with the car you originally planned to buy. Check the cancellation and refund terms of your existing order before changing it.
5. Test-drive the actual G6 generation and trim. Check your driving position, passengers and luggage, and how your normal charging would work. A car being in stock does not establish that it suits those needs.

Ready to decide: you have an identifiable car, written specification and price, and a handover plan that fits your deadline. If the car or date cannot yet be confirmed, treat it as an estimate and keep your existing travel arrangements in place until you know what you are changing to.

Confirm the ownership support
