What to do
Before you start, read the complete sequence. Follow these steps in order and stop if the vehicle shows a stronger warning than the one described here.
- On the CID open Window & Door, then Baby-in-Car Mode.
- Enable the child safety lock for the required rear doors.
- Enable the passenger-window lock and, where fitted, lock seat, refrigerator or rear-screen manual controls as needed.
- With an adult supervising outside, confirm the protected inside door release and selected controls no longer operate.
- Confirm the doors still open safely from outside when the vehicle is unlocked, and that the driver can restore each function.
Expected result
You should expect the following result when the documented route is successful: Every selected control is disabled and the CID shows the mode as active. Unselected controls continue to work. The setting should be rechecked after a profile, software or vehicle change.
If it still does not work
If any selected door or control still operates, do not rely on the mode for that seating position. Photograph the screen, record model year and XOS version, and contact XPENG service for inspection.

Never leave a child alone in the vehicle. Use the correct restraint for the child and seating position. Verify locks only while parked; do not ask a child to test a door while the vehicle is moving.
