Current UK status

XPENG has confirmed a P7+ launch across 25 named European markets, but the United Kingdom was not included in that list. Until XPENG publishes a UK derivative and support terms, no international software, hardware or connected-service feature should be presented as confirmed for UK owners.

Why the UK software specification matters

Connected services and driver assistance require both suitable hardware and market-enabled software. A global feature demonstration does not prove availability on a future UK P7+.

Questions to answer before ordering

  1. Which connected features are enabled in the UK?
  2. Do any require mobile data, an account or a subscription?
  3. Is Apple CarPlay or Android Auto supported by the stated XOS build?
  4. Which assistance functions and sensors are fitted to the exact derivative?
  5. What are their documented operating limitations?

Before an OTA installation

  1. Park safely and read the on-screen requirements.
  2. Allow more time than the estimate.
  3. Do not begin shortly before an essential journey.
  4. Keep the vehicle locked and unused as instructed.

Post-update checks while parked

  1. Confirm the complete XOS build and read the release notes.
  2. Check driver profiles, phone pairing, navigation and charging limits.
  3. Test camera views, climate access and frequently used settings.
  4. Read changed warnings before using an altered assistance function.

Assistance is not autonomy

The driver remains responsible. Weather, road markings, visibility, sensor obstruction and complex traffic can affect operation. If a safety setting disappears or behaviour changes, do not substitute a P7 manual: record the exact P7+ market, XOS build and screen. Leave the affected function off and contact XPENG if warnings persist.
