Current UK status
XPENG has launched the P7+ across 25 named European markets, but the United Kingdom was not included in that official launch list. The capacity figures below describe relevant international or European configurations and must not be treated as a confirmed UK specification.
Why a fastback needs a physical test
XPENG’s global information describes 573 litres behind the rear seats and up to 1,931 litres with them folded for relevant P7+ configurations. A long floor can still be limited by the tailgate opening and sloping rear glass, and final UK figures require local confirmation.
Test your real equipment
- Measure the largest pushchair, mobility aid, pet carrier or luggage item you regularly carry.
- Set the front and rear seats for normal occupants.
- Measure the tailgate at its narrowest point and the height below the closing glass.
- Load charging cables and safety equipment in their normal positions.
- Test the item without forcing the tailgate or powered seats.
- Confirm visibility and a safe way to secure the load.
Check rear-seat usability
Assess knee room, foot space, head clearance and the seating position with the front seats correctly set. Where relevant, test ISOFIX access, child-seat installation and child-lock controls.
Check the details litres do not show
- load lip and fragile trim;
- parcel-cover storage;
- powered-tailgate clearance;
- whether folded seats form a usable surface;
- payload and approved roof, tow or carrying accessories.
UK decision standard
The car passes only if occupants and equipment fit together without exceeding documented limits. Until a UK derivative is formally confirmed, treat global capacity and equipment figures as evaluation leads—not a promise.
