XPENG G9 wiper service position and blade replacement
With the G9 in P and its wipers off, open Vehicle → Front/Rear Wiper Maintenance Mode. Wait for the arm to reach its service position before lifting it; switching the mode off returns it to park.
Use this route when your supplied handbook and controls match the G9 2025 international English, PDF 307 / printed 309 edition. Other generations and UK derivatives need their matching instructions.

Close the front compartment and driver door, disable automatic wiping and protect the glass. Confirm the replacement blade and connector against the original part before removing anything.
- Open Vehicle on the central display.
- Enable the relevant Front or Rear Wiper Maintenance Mode.
- Wait for the arm to stop completely. Lift it only as far as needed and support it throughout.
- For the illustrated front blade, press the lock button and pull the blade upwards out of the arm. Fit the matching replacement in reverse until it clicks. For the rear, hold the blade and lift the arm away at their connection; locate the new blade’s raised part in the arm’s slot before lowering. Compare the connector with the diagrams below before releasing it.
- Lower the arm gently. Disable maintenance mode and confirm the arm returns without touching trim.

The wiper returns to its parked position and clears washer fluid evenly. A correct blade remains secure, does not knock the bodywork and does not leave a large unwiped area.
Keep the bonnet and driver’s door closed when enabling service mode. Never let a bare arm spring onto the glass or activate movement while someone holds it. Stop for a loose/mismatched connector, unusual noise or an arm striking trim rather than forcing it.
If that did not work
If maintenance mode is unavailable, recheck P, door/bonnet closure and the wiper-off state. Do not force the mechanism. If the arm is misaligned, the connector will not lock or the motor fails to park, use a service centre.
Ask the service centre to check the maintenance-mode prerequisites and arm parking position; give it the model/build, full XOS, selected mode and observed response.
