XCOMBO lets supported XPENG functions work together as a routine. For a UK G6 owner, the useful question is whether the routine fits the car, installed XOS version and everyday circumstances—not how many actions can be added.
Which car does this cover?
XPENG UK’s 18 August 2026 announcement describes XCOMBO features in the G6’s XOS 5.9.5 update. It is evidence for that UK announcement, not a promise that every G6 has received it or that another XPENG model has identical controls. This guide explains how to assess a routine; it does not invent a touchscreen menu sequence.
What XPENG UK confirms
The announcement describes time and location triggers for cooling, routines that can include seat ventilation, a one-touch cooling widget, and sharing customisations through XCOMBO or a QR code. The available functions depend on the supported vehicle and market.
Start with the controls and explanations actually shown in your car. A screenshot from a different market or software release cannot establish what your UK G6 supports.
Make your first routine easy to understand
- Name one outcome. For example, preparing the cabin before a regular departure. Write down what you expect to happen.
- Read the trigger. Check whether it depends on time, place, temperature or another condition. Look for a condition that would prevent it from running.
- Review every action. Remove anything you do not understand before enabling the routine. Keep the first test simple.
- Test while parked and present. Watch the result directly. A saved routine is not evidence that its actions occurred.
- Check the exit. Know how to stop the routine and return to your normal settings before making it part of a daily schedule.
These are MyXPENG’s editorial testing checks, not a manufacturer-prescribed setup procedure.
Before trying a shared routine
Treat a shared code or QR link as something to inspect, not a compatibility certificate. Read its conditions, actions and stop instructions before enabling it. If you cannot explain what an action does, leave the routine disabled and ask for the exact-car documentation. Do not assume that adding another condition creates an independent routine.
If a routine does not run
Record its name, trigger conditions, expected action and what happened instead. Note the installed XOS version and any warning shown. Check for overlapping routines before changing several settings at once. Use the car’s help or retailer support for a missing control; do not substitute an overseas menu route.
Never rely on an automation as supervision for a child, pet or vulnerable passenger. Keep people and animals with appropriate supervision, and follow the vehicle’s warnings.
Keep useful evidence
A short record of the routine and one observed test is more useful than a long list of unrelated settings. Remove home addresses and other private locations before sharing screenshots.
