Make sure the correct charging pad is enabled

  1. Park safely.
  2. On the central display, open Charging and Discharging → Power Supply.
  3. Enable Driver-side Wireless Charging or Passenger-side Wireless Charging for the pad being used.

Position the phone correctly

  1. Remove coins, cards, magnetic accessories and other objects from the pad and phone.
  2. Remove a thick, magnetic or metal-containing case for the test.
  3. Place the phone screen-up and slide it to the bottom of the charging area along the limiting strip.
  4. Make sure it covers the lower cooling-air outlet rather than sitting at the top of the pad.
  5. Look for the wireless-charging symbol on the central display.

If charging stops or the phone becomes hot

  1. Remove the phone and allow it to cool naturally.
  2. Check that dust, liquid or another object is not blocking the cooling outlet.
  3. Close processor-heavy navigation, video or gaming apps before retesting without the case.
  4. Use a cable if the phone continues limiting charge because of temperature.

Poor positioning, foreign objects, vehicle-key searching and changes in vehicle or door state can interrupt charging normally.

Separate a phone problem from a vehicle problem

Test a second compatible phone without a case. If only one phone fails, check its charging specification and software. If several compatible phones fail on both pads, record the XOS version and displayed warning for XPENG support.

Stop immediately for an overheating warning, smell, visible damage or a very hot metal object. Never place cards, coins or external charging coils on the pad.
