Before signing the handover

  1. Match registration, VIN, derivative, colour and options to the paperwork.
  2. Inspect paint, glass, wheels, tyres, seats and trim in good light.
  3. Photograph and record every concern before leaving.
  4. Check the charging port, cables, manuals and accessories against the order.
  5. Test both physical keys.
  6. Locate the tyre label, recovery information and documented emergency charging release.

Set up the owner account

  1. Install the official XPENG app from the phone’s app store.
  2. Use the account linked to the purchase or retailer invitation.
  3. Confirm the correct VIN and vehicle.
  4. Activate the key while beside the car and keep the physical key available.
  5. Test lock and unlock before relying on the phone.

Set the driving position while parked

  1. Adjust seat, mirrors and steering wheel and save the profile where fitted.
  2. Check units, language, time zone and navigation privacy.
  3. Review driver-assistance preferences.
  4. Pair the phone for calls and media separately from phone-key setup.
  5. Locate demisting, hazards, Park, drive selection and assistance cancellation.

Check charging

  1. Open Charging and Discharging → Charging.
  2. Review the charge limit and schedule.
  3. Ask for a demonstration of connector locking and normal release.
  4. Test a short AC session where possible.

Before driving away

Confirm insurance, handbook access and roadside contacts. Put every defect or missing item on the written collection record. Begin with a short familiar route and learn one assistance feature at a time; never explore menus while driving.
