Peak kW is not the whole session
The largest brochure number is a brief capability under suitable conditions. Charging power changes continuously and normally reduces as the battery fills.

Diagnose a slow session step by step
- Record the exact model, arrival percentage and outside temperature.
- Check the charger’s rating and whether power is shared between connectors.
- Where supported, navigate to the charger through the vehicle before arrival.
- Allow several minutes for power to rise.
- Record energy added, peak power, later-session power and elapsed time.
- Repeat at another proven compatible charger under comparable conditions.
Interpret the result
A cold battery, high starting percentage, busy site or limited charger can reduce power without indicating damage. Compare the complete session and time required to reach your departure level, not one screenshot.
When to obtain support
If several suitable chargers remain unexpectedly slow, save the charger ID, receipt, timestamps, temperature, percentages and vehicle warnings. Stop immediately for excessive heat, damage, smell or a charging-system instruction to disconnect.
